When and how do I receive password expiration alerts?
Password expiration alerts are provided through the following methods:
- Dashboard alert:
A reminder message is displayed on your dashboard starting 7 days before the password expires. - Email notifications:
You will receive up to two reminder emails, provided that the password has not already been updated:- a first email about 2 weeks before the expiration
- a second email about 3 days before the expiration
Reminder emails are not sent in the following cases:
- if you have already changed the password before the scheduled dates;
- if the password was recently updated and is no longer close to expiration.
What should I do when I receive an expiration alert?
When you receive a password expiration alert, it is recommended to follow these steps:
- Log in to your account dashboard.
- Go to the “Settings” section.
- Click on “Change password”.
- You will receive an email containing a 6-digit verification code: enter it in the appropriate fields.
- Click on “Verify code”.
- At this point, you can set a new password.
- After changing it, you will need to log in again using the new credentials.
What happens if I don’t change my password in time?
If you don’t update your password before it expires, you may be prompted to reset it the next time you sign in.
