- The system automatically blocks certain prohibited words (badwords) in the title or text of your ad.

What are disallowed words (badwords)?
Disallowed words are terms that the system automatically blocks when publishing an ad. This list of prohibited words exists to prevent content that violates our rules, such as references to minors, illegal content, or other types of unauthorised content on the platform.
When you write a disallowed word in the title or text of your ad, the system detects it and does not allow you to continue with the publication.
How to identify the blocked word
If your ad cannot be published because it contains a disallowed word, follow these steps:
- Check the warning message that appears below the text or title field.
- Locate the exact word that is indicated as not allowed.
- Look for that word within your title or description.
The system will always show you the specific word that is blocked, so you can easily identify it.
How to fix your ad
To be able to publish your ad, you must remove the disallowed word by following these steps:
- Access the editing of your ad from the control panel.
- Remove or replace the word marked as disallowed.
- Check that the rest of the title and text meet the minimum character requirements.
- Save the changes and try to publish the ad again.
Common issues
❯ My old ad was removed without me modifying it → It is possible that the word it contained was recently added to the list of prohibited words. You will need to edit the ad and republish it without that word.
❯ I don’t understand why that word is blocked → Some words are blocked because they pose a risk to compliance with our rules, such as avoiding references to minors or other unauthorised content.
❯ I still can’t publish even though I removed the word → Check that there is no other disallowed word in the same text, as the system may detect more than one.
❯ My account was blocked for using a disallowed word → Contact the support team to find out the exact reason for the block and the steps to follow.
