Why the Phone Number Verification Error Appears
The phone number verification error appears when you see this message:
"We were unable to verify your phone number. Please try again later or use a different phone number."
To ensure platform security and prevent misuse of the SMS verification service, certain restrictions may be applied to the use of the same phone number. When one of these security limits is reached, it is no longer possible to complete verification with that number.
How to Resolve the Phone Number Verification Error
To complete the verification:
- Use a different phone number that is not subject to restrictions.
- Complete the verification process again with the new number.
If the new number is valid, the verification should complete successfully.
Common Issues
